welcome to ladykiller!
hi, we’re ladykiller press. we were officially founded february 13th, 2023, but we’ve been printing for over eight years. we love making artists money.
now the details: we’re an eco-friendly new york-based screen printing shop & merch manufacturer, and we want to help you make your merch. we specialize in screen printing using water-based ink, which blends in and becomes part of the fabric, remaining soft to the touch and durable while also being better for the environment than industry-standard plastisol ink. we also offer direct to film, posters, design services, and the occasional special project.
ladykiller began mostly accidentally. steph learned how to screen print in art school as an artistic medium, but never intended on making it a business. after graduation, she fell into the bushwick music scene as a fan, getting to know the local working bands and their teams.
hanging out late at a local bar one summer night, someone said “hey, you can screen print, right? why don’t you print our merch?” ladykiller began as just steph, working alone, taking jobs from her friends as they came.
in february 2023, steph’s friends in dead tooth placed a (to her) massive shirt order in preparation for their tour with bass drum of death. just as she was worrying about how to fulfill it while working at her day job… she was fired from her day job.
ladykiller press was named, and officially born, on february 13th 2023. the broken heart logo was coincidental.
today ladykiller is a fully-fledged business with dozens of bands on our roster, printing thousands of units of band merch every year. one in two of all of our clients are returning friends of ours. oh, and we book shows for fun. ☻
